Following on from successful renovations of the Ocana, Tolla and Sovendia power plants, EDF has shown renewed confidence in the teams from Actemium Vitrolles with the project to renovate the Sampolo hydroelectric power plant in Corsica. The project is an opportunity for Actemium to showcase the expertise acquired in the course of numerous hydroelectric plant renovations. In addition to the technical demands of the operation, there is a particular focus on service continuity, scheduling and reactivity.
Actemium Vitrolles will apply its expertise to removing the existing installation; replacing command-and-control cabinets for the two units and support services; replacing the master mains voltage boards; creating an electrical room and instrumentation for the Oléo plant, cooling system pipework and alternator; renovating the head valve; programming the automatic control system; installing speed and voltage regulators; and commissioning and restarting the generator assembly on the power supply network.
