Violette Dorange, Initiatives-Cœur co-skipper in 2025
As a partner in the Initiatives-Cœur project alongside K-Line and Chocolats du cœur, VINCI Energies is delighted to announce the arrival of Violette Dorange as co-skipper of the yacht Initiatives-Cœur for the 2025 season.
Contested double-handed, this season will offer Violette the chance to step up a level under the continued tutorship of Samantha Davies, an icon of offshore racing and leader of the Initiatives-Cœur project since 2017.
Their racing calendar is not yet finalised, but their major target will be the Transat Café L’OR, departing Le Havre on 26 October.
Initiatives-Cœur is a solidarity sports project, in partnership with the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque charity, to save children affected by heart abnormalities: the yacht’s participation in famous races, together with the financial support of its partners – VINCI Energies, K-Line, and Les Chocolats du cœur – ensures extensive media coverage to help Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque raise public awareness of its cause.
