VINCI Energies Spain has just joined the Hydrogen Valley of Catalonia. Through its involvement in this initiative, VINCI Energies is stepping up its commitment to renewable hydrogen, which it sees as a key energy vector in addressing global challenges like energy market uncertainty and rising energy prices. The platform represents a strategic initiative for Spain.

Alejandro García, hydrogen and ports director for VINCI Energies Spain says: “Becoming a member of an alliance of the scale of the Hydrogen Valley of Catalonia is not only a decisive and logical step in our renewable hydrogen economy strategy but also a cohesive decision in terms of our commitment to developing innovative solutions for a more sustainable world.”

With VINCI Energies now a member, the Hydrogen Valley of Catalonia includes more than 230 public and private organisations, bringing together 162 businesses, 42 public entities, 12 knowledge and research hubs, and 21 associations and clusters.
