VINCI Energies Belgium strengthens its position with acquisition of Caitlann Consulting

VINCI Energies Belgium has acquired Caitlann Consulting, an IT company specializing in database management and support. As of now, Caitlann Consulting is part of the ICT business line of VINCI Energies Belgium.

With this acquisition, VINCI Energies Belgium strengthens its position in the ICT market and more specifically database management, as well as its foothold in the southern part of Belgium.

Established in 1998 by owner Peter Claeys, Caitlann Consulting is located in Wauthier-Braine. With a team of about 20 Oracle and MS SQL database engineers, Caitlann Consulting manages over 1,000 databases, primarily serving customers in the healthcare and utilities industry. The majority of Caitlann Consulting customers are based in the southern region of Belgium.

With this acquisition, VINCI Energies Belgium not only affirms its strong position in the ICT market, but also expands its reach in the healthcare and utilities industry.

Strategic expansion and complementarity

Positive outlook

For Caitlann Consulting as well, the future within VINCI Energies looks promising. The company remains at its current site in Wauthier-Braine, and will become a new autonomous business unit within the ICT business line of VINCI Energies Belgium. Wilfried Goossens, current Service Delivery Manager at Caitlann Consulting, will lead this new business unit, ensuring continuity and leveraging the synergies within the VINCI Energies Group.
