VINCI Energies acquired Hesselink Kabelverlegungs- und Rohrleitungstiefbau GmbH, based in Nordhorn, in the German region of Niedersachsen, on 2 January 2024.
Since it was founded in 1997, the company has focussed on providing services in the distribution network for pipe and cable civil engineering, cable line construction and broadband expansion. The range of services extends from excavation and surface work, drilling and pressing to cable laying and installation of all cable types.
Hesselink will be integrated as a business unit into the VINCI Energies energy infrastructure brand Omexom in Germany. With Hesselink, Omexom is strengthening its presence in the Niedersachsen distribution network sector. The Nordhorn-based company has 73 employees and generated revenue of €11 million in 2023.
“Hesselink is one of the strongest service providers in the region,” says Max Barta, Head of Omexom, into whose division the company will be integrated. “We are delighted about the addition of Hesselink’s powerful team and look forward to working with them.”
“The integration into the VINCI Energies network offers us many new opportunities and growth possibilities. The merger with Omexom expands our portfolio and gives us a very positive outlook for the future,” says Jörn Hesselink, Managing Director of Hesselink GmbH, who will continue to run the company as Business Unit Manager.
