VINCI Energies recently acquired bgm Baugrundberatung GmbH, a company based in Hunge, in Hesse, Germany.
Specialising in soil and subsoil studies, bgm provides consulting in geological engineering, contaminated site studies, geothermal energy, preservation of evidence and inspections for earthworks, and compaction testing for asphalt laying.
“Thanks to the expertise acquired through bgm, we are expanding our portfolio of soil studies on tower sites for the construction of overhead power lines”, says Dr. Jochen Röhm, head of the technical division at Omexom, the VINCI Energies brand that will incorporate the new business. “Companies in this market segment are rare, and we are happy to be able to offer our customers a wider range of planning services. We welcome the bgm team as the newest members of Omexom”.
Mathias Müssig, who remains at the head of the new business unit alongside Jörn Martini, says, “We are certain that in VINCI Energies, we have found a buyer that offers our business the right framework for its continuing growth and future development. We are delighted to be part of VINCI Energies. On one hand, we benefit from a network of specialists, and on the other, we are sharing and strengthening our own skill set”.
