Supporting secondary school pupils in their career orientation

The Crée ton avenir (lit. “Create your future”) association, supported by the Fondation VINCI pour la Cité, offers an apprenticeship programme in educational establishments with the aim of guiding students in their career choices.

The Crée ton avenir association offers an apprenticeship programme in educational establishments to give students the skills they need to make the right choices for their career. The Fondation VINCI pour la Cité, in partnership with Crée ton avenir, is coordinating the implementation of joint training courses at various VINCI Group sites and also part-financing the initiative.

In March, Omexom teams in Tournus welcomed 10 school students aged 14 to 15 who currently receive support from the association. This was an opportunity to learn about the sector and the company’s different businesses, take part in workshops, and participate actively in the course.

“It’s important to create a link between associations, businesses and school students,” explains Laurence Capon, an administrative and financial manager at VINCI Energies. “This allows the students to see how they can thrive in our business units, gives our employees a chance to share their skills and feel useful, and lets the associations see the tangible results of their work.”
