VINCI Energies Belgium is building its new regional headquarters in Gosselies near Charleroi. Ten business units will be housed in the state-of-the-art and energy-efficient premises.
“The construction of this new building is part of the objective to implement innovative techniques in a building with very low energy consumption ” says Benoît Gouverneur, Business Development Manager of Cegelec Belgium.
Eight VINCI Energies Belgium companies were involved in the work: VINCI Facilities for the space planning, IZEN with the installation of 800 photovoltaic panels, Axians Audiovisual Belgium for the audiovisual systems, Cegelec for the electrical recharging stations, Omexom for the medium-voltage transformer stations, Cegelec Fire Solutions for the fire detection, Axians for the IT infrastructure and Cegelec for the special techniques.
“This is a project that we wanted to be exemplary in both its design and execution. We applied the “Building Team” formula by involving all the stakeholders in the project from the outset ” added Fabrice Montesi, CEO of Cegelec Belgium.
