In Sweden, Omexom South Solutions, is awarded by Port of Helsingborg to build a new 130/10 kV substation.
The Port of Helsingborg, which is one of Sweden’s largest and most important ferry ports, needs to strengthen its power network to meet increased investments and demands for a sustainable infrastructure.
Omexom is now contributing with expertise in this important and green transition by building the new power station. Omexom is responsible for a total commitment including a new station building with control room, switchgear and auxiliary power. A small building for a temporary incoming voltage level of 10kV is also delivered while waiting for the 130kV switchgear to be built.
The project includes design, testing and project management. Site assembly is carried out in close collaboration with local resources, including the sister brand Eitech.
“It is really nice that the Port of Helsingborg has chosen us at Omexom, especially when the technical solution is identical to the four stations we delivered to Trelleborgs Elnät AB. In the first stage, only a control station and a 10kV solution will be built, but we are preparing the port to be able to switch up and add a 130kV station with double transformers”, says Per Pehrsson, project manager at Omexom.
