Chambéry-based Citeos employees Sébastien and Margot champion an important message – “showing solidarity is about holding your hand out to people less fortunate than you”. In 2022, they decided to become Fondation VINCI sponsors and get involved with the non profit Les Triandines.
Since 2005, the Fondation d’Entreprise VINCI pour la Cité has been supporting Réseau Cocagne, a national network of over 100 market gardens that seeks to help people get back into the world of work. This year, the foundation donated €10,000 to a market garden run by Les Triandines, a non-profit that focuses primarily on selling boxes of organic fruit and vegetables. The people supported by the non-profit play a part in growing the produce and selling it onto box scheme customers.
This concept caught the attention of two Citeos Chambéry employees – BU manager Sébastien Bellemin and administrative and financial officer Margot Marchand – who were interested in supporting a charitable initiative.
Sébastien and Margot support Les Triandines by getting actively involved in its work, leveraging their network and expertise, ensuring projects go smoothly and promoting the non-profit. They are able to do this thanks to the Fondation VINCI pour la Cité, which put them in touch with Les Triandines and gave them the option of becoming sponsors for the non-profit.
“Being a Fondation VINCI sponsor provides an opportunity to put things right, take a step back from life’s usual routine and relax. It restores our energy levels, which has a knock-on effect on our regular work activities.”
Projects led by non-profits supported by the Fondation d’Entreprise VINCI pour la Cité are among the charitable initiatives VINCI Energies employees like Sébastien and Margot can support.
