Providing support for people suffering from long-term illness, cancer or with disabilities, the Clisson-based organisation Agir contre la maladie assists members in their daily lives through social, sporting and welfare activities. 

Seven SDEL Contrôle Commande employees organised a raffle for company staff to raise money for the organisation. As ambassadors for this charitable initiative, they took responsibility for identifying prizes, selling tickets and raising awareness among teams in order to make it a success. 

In total, more than 1,000 raffle tickets were sold to staff and over 300 prizes were awarded by 50 donors. A sum of €4,000 was raised thanks to this show of generosity and solidarity. 

In March 2022, in the presence of all employees, Laurent Bonilla, head of the SDEL Contrôle Commande business unit, handed over a cheque for €4,000 to the organisation’s President Catherine Cormerais, who was touched by this collective effort. 

The money enabled the organisation to buy around 70 pieces of sports equipment and accessories, which will help members to start or continue practising tailored physical activities.
