The acquisition of Cygnis by VINCI Energies ensures that a strong open-source portfolio is created within the Axians brand based on the growing partnership with Redhat, part of IBM.

Cygnis, based in Groningen, already has a long-lasting partnership with Axians serving joint customers. By combining this specific expertise, an open-source and database Center of Excellence is created in Groningen with fourty experienced specialists. The Center of Excellence provides expertise in projects and managed services based on ‘Axians vPack’; a self-developed cloud and container platform for the monitoring and orchestration of applications based on open-source technology.
