Since 2017, VINCI Energies has been supporting the solidarity sports project Initiatives-Cœur, which exists to save children affected by heart abnormalities, in partnership with the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque charity. The yacht’s participation in famous races, together with the financial support of its partners, ensures extensive media coverage to help Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque raise public awareness of its cause. 

On 10 November, Sam Davies set sail solo and unassisted on the non-stop round-the-world race Vendée Globe 2024, aboard the yacht Initiatives-Cœur. On 30 January, after weeks of challenge and commitment at sea, she completed her adventure – and her mission: to save children with heart abnormalities.  

Thanks to Operation 1 Clic = 1 Coeur,* 106 children can now receive vital heart surgery with Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque. This brings the number of children to benefit from surgery since the Initiatives-Cœur project began in 2009 to more than 500.
