REWALBI has appointed Actemium Automation to build a large-scale solar power plant.
The REWALBI facility in Gunnilse, Sweden, provides solutions for the sustainable management of contaminated water from infrastructure, construction and industrial projects. In order to fully operate its wastewater treatment process using self-generated electricity, REWALBI appointed Actemium Automation, based in Stenungsund, to build a plant comprising 240 solar panels and generating 80,000kWh of power per year.
As part of the project, Actemium will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and management of the solar plant. The technology installed by Actemium also includes panel monitoring and repairs.
It is estimated that the electricity generated by the plant will save more than 32 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
