NCC has once again selected Eitech to contribute with its specialist expertise in connection with the construction of a new high voltage and back-up power facility at Skaraborg Hospital in Skövde. The assignment, which is carried out in the project form partnering, is now entering a new phase.
The new facility is being built to ensure future power supply for the hospital in Skövde, partly when the existing facility is old but above all to meet the dimensional requirements for ongoing and future modernizations.
At the beginning of 2020, Eitech started to work on a technical solution and a target price for the new high voltage and back-up power station with the end customer Västfastigheter, contract part NCC and subcontractors. A successful work which has resulted in continued thrust in Phase 2 of the project and the actual execution that is now taking part.
To carry out the assignment in the best way, Eitech has gathered a project team with a mix of expertise from the business units in Södertälje and Örebro and within Back-up Power. A team with responsibility for design, delivery, installation and commissioning of, among other things, switchgears, diesel generators, local power transformers and control systems as well as electrical installations such as lighting, IT-networks, cameras and safety alarms.
The work is started and will be completed in August 2021.
